Purdue senior Robert Marve and redshirt freshman Frankie Williams earned Big Ten honors on Monday.
Marve was named the league's co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week after completing 20-of-29 passes for a career-high 348 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-35 victory over Indiana Saturday. Marve became the first Boilermaker to throw for at least 300 yards since 2009. The last time a Purdue QB did that - Joey Elliott - he also earned player-of-the-week.
Williams, a cornerback, earned Freshman-of-the-Week honors after recording six tackles and an interception against the Hoosiers. It was Williams' second such honor this season.
