More: Purdue expands alcohol sales in Ross-Ade, Mackey

Purdue fans are likely to find a wider selection of food choices during home football games this season.

Boilermaker Hospital, part of Levy Restaurants, Purdue’s food and drink vendor, unveiled a new food and beer menu on Monday afternoon in Ross-Ade Stadium’s concourse.

Duck headlines the menu, part of a partnership with Maple Leaf Farms in northern Indiana. Patrons will be able to eat a BBQ duck sandwich in the south end zone, plus duck wings and a duck bacon burger in the concourse. In addition in the concourse, Purdue will serve traditional favors like a pork tenderloin, foot-long hotdog and patty melt. On the third-floor of the Pavilion, fans can also get a tostada or veggie burger. All sandwiches are priced between $8-10.

“We always have the traditional stuff, but keep adding the new items,” said Boilermaker Hospitality executive chef Josh Timmons.

Beer too. Purdue will have domestics, like Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra, along with craft beers, like selections from Goose Island and the new Boiler Gold from People’s Brewing Company.

Draft beer, including of Boiler Gold, is available only in the south end zone and Pavilion, with a 20-oz cup priced at $6 for domestic and $7 for craft. In the rest of the stadium, the options are a 16-oz can of domestic for $7 and $8 for craft. Wine is $7 everywhere.

In addition, local pizza favorite Arni’s will have two locations on the concourse in Ross-Ade, serving pizza and bread sticks.

“We’ve tried to make it a big impact for the fans, where they walk in and really match the enhancements on the field with what’s happening behind the scenes as well,” Jeremy Wilkinson, Hospitality director of operations.
