David Elson is back where he wants to be: On the field coaching.

Purdue’s first-year linebackers coach joined Jeff Brohm’s staff last season as a defensive analyst. When co-defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Brad Lambert left to run the defense at Wake Forest soon after the 2021 season ended, Brohm promoted Elson.
