• The Saints are now 7-2, having won seven straight games including Sunday's whopping of the Buffalo Bills.
Drew Brees, as it happened, didn't throw a touchdown pass — he did run for one score — even though New Orleans scored 47. It's led to speculation about what exactly the Saints are going to do in the offseason, with Brees in the last year of his contract.
New Orleans could let its franchise quarterback go, although it's equally as possible it decides to extend him. NFL insider Ian Rapoport gave his thoughts over the weekend, but also said that Brees, hitting on 71.7 percent of his throws, is missing targets.
