One of Purdue's apparent top offensive line targets visited West Lafayette late last week, as Illinois tackle Nick Broeker spent a day around the program.

"I really enjoyed the visit. It definitely exceeded my expectations," Broeker said. "The new facilities, I'd never see any of that before, and it was all really nice.

"I just really enjoyed the campus and the facilities and just Purdue as a school. It's one of the top schools in the country and the education is really good there."

The visit might have been particularly important given its timing, as the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder from Sacred Heart-Griffin in Springfield, Ill., moves toward a commitment.
