• Some context here: This wasn't your stereotypical Penn State Purdue just beat. This was an NCAA Tournament-caliber team by every eye-test measure and every other known measure in its play of late. Penn State may or may not make the Big Dance, but it visited West Lafayette tonight playing as well as anyone in the conference, coming off a blowout win over co-league frontrunner Ohio State.

That being said, Penn State could have maybe sealed its place in the Tournament tonight, so that's what the opponent had on the line, the dynamic that often goes overlooked and made Purdue's loss at Wisconsin so shocking.
