The majority of Purdue's 2023 recruiting class — the pre-portal-season, high school portion, that is — is in place, as the Boilermaker coaching staff exits the summer with 18 verbal commitments, with few outstanding decisions still pending.
With the bulk of the class in place, GoldandBlack.com will take a position-by-position look at the group and its context.
Today, offensive line.
PURDUE'S COMMITMENTS
Purdue exits the summer with just one new offensive line commitment — Louisiana's Ethan Fields — and a carried-over commitment from the 2022 class, Jimmy Liston.
The O-line has always been a position Purdue has been willing to attack with numbers, and one where the transfer portal will loom large, so this is a position where the Boilermaker staff likely still has work to do.
