Purdue lost key personnel at running back with D.J. Knox and Markell Jones both exhausting their eligibility. That duo combined for 1,420 yards rushing last season on 265 carries with 13 TDs. And they finished their careers with an aggregate 4,453 yards rushing and 164 receptions. That’s a lot of production to replace. Now what? The spring didn’t provide great clarity. And this spot could be impacted by incoming freshmen King Doerue and Da'Joun Hewitt. It wouldn't be a shock if one or both played in the fall. Here is a look at our projected depth chart at running back.
