Wednesday night, No. 23 Purdue debuted in a 79-57 win over Green Bay.

PURDUE HAS GUARDS WHO CAN GET SHOTS
This wasn't Michigan State or anyone particularly prominent — and Southern Indiana certainly wasn't either — but through two outings now, Jahaad Proctor and Eric Hunter appear like they may have the makings of being the sort of playmaking scoring guards Purdue may not have known it would have this season.
Their numbers speak for themselves. Proctor scored 26 on 65-percent shooting and Hunter finished with 15 and six assists against just one turnover.
But it's how they got their numbers.
