Purdue football playing surfaces get an update — with a twist
A change is coming to the playing surface at Ross-Ade Stadium for 2018.
It just won’t be a dramatic one.
Purdue will stick with a grass playing surface, assistant athletics director for facilities Al Capitos said, but there will be a twist.
The decision was the result of a yearly review of the condition of the surfaces at Ross-Ade Stadium and the practice fields with the coaching staff.
