Purdue heads to the Bahamas on an offensive tear
As Purdue readies for the proving ground that will be the Battle 4 Atlantis, where the 18th-ranked Boilermakers will share a stage with two top-five teams, it will do so buoyed by an offense that has ranked as one of the nation's elite thus far.
There's been nothing unexpected about Purdue's early season productivity on offense. With so much skill and so much experience returning from the Big Ten's top scoring team from a season ago, it figured to be potent.
It's been only four games, but it's lived up.
Some superlatives:
• Averaging 102 points, Purdue ranks sixth nationally in scoring thus far.
