Purdue has long recruited South Bend Riley's Damezi Anderson as a priority recruit.

A few weeks ago, while in Kansas City for the NCAA Tournament, Boilermaker coaches formalized him as one, offering the high-scoring Rivals.com four-star and top-100-ranked player a scholarship.

"It was a very big one for me," Anderson said.
