More: Purdue 2020 offers
Purdue struck a cord with Jonathan Odom, the highly recruited tight end said, by preaching priority, a consideration he'll keep in mind as he sorts through the dozens of schools pursuing him.
"I'm trying to see everyone and keep mental notes on who really keeps in touch with me every day, the little things like that," said Odom, who unofficially visited Purdue in January. "Ultimately I want to go somewhere I'm a priority.
"That's another thing we talked about. All these colleges want me, but I want to go somewhere I'm wanted and needed. Purdue was the first school to talk to me about that. It's different to hear a college say they need you."
