There were no big surprises Saturday morning when Purdue released its official — and somewhat delayed — roster.
The departures list confirmed what had been previously reported, with WR Terrance Landers, DT Fred Brown, WR Malik Kimbrough, OL Jalen Neal, LB Dezwan Polk-Campbell, RB Keyante Green and RB David Yancey choosing to leave the program. Walk-on Brandon Prince, a tight end who had been with Purdue only in the spring, was also no longer on the roster.
Aside from late-committing place-kicker Spencer Evans, Purdue's newcomers — freshman, J.C. transfers and graduate transfers — were included, as were five other walk-ons: PK Brian Bravo (who has been with Purdue previously), OL Graham Keller, RB Carter McGinnis, QB Aidan O’Connell and LB Jonah Williams.
Evans, expected to be a kickoff specialist, is on campus, however, judging from social media. Wide receiver Corey Holmes, who could arrive as early as this weekend after graduating at Notre Dame, is on the roster.
