Following a torrential run verbal commitments throughout June, Purdue holds 14 pledges to this point for its Class of 2018, with things now bound to settle time for a while at some point.

Here's a quick position-by-position look at the group of commitments that's been assembled in the span of the past three weeks or so.

Quarterback: If this winds up being a one-quarterback class, then Purdue has one of the targets it wanted most, in Arizona's Jack Plummer, who was one of the first players to commit. The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder from Gilbert, Ariz., is an expected mid-year graduate, meaning he'd be enrolled come January.
