Purdue completed its ninth spring practice on Monday, going more than two hours inside Mollenkopf.
Rain was in the forecast, and although it didn’t start until just after practice ended, it probably a reason why the Boilermakers stayed indoors rather than venture outside for the first time.
Following are observations:
• Purdue is down the bare minimum at wide receiver, necessitating a move — sort of — by a player who could probably shine there, if he didn’t have upside at his current position.
