The Boilermakers were back in full uniforms for Tuesday's practice, during a more typically humid August day in West Lafayette.

Purdue went for two hours or so at Bimel. Following are Jeff Brohm's thoughts:

• Quarterback David Blough had an MRI on his right shoulder Monday, taking look at it after he was injured during Saturday's scrimmage.

Brohm said the results came back "clean," calling the injury a strain.

Backup Elijah Sindelar is taking the No. 1 QB snaps in Blough's place.

• Brohm says Purdue's injured wide receivers — Terry Wright, Corey Holmes, Jarrett Burgess and Malcolm Dotson — are starting to work back in to practice.

"They weren't full, full speed," Brohm said. "They're getting closer, which is important. We've just got to find a way to make some plays up the field, and that comes from protection. It comes from quarterback. It comes from scheme. It comes from great get-off, running our routes hard as fast as we can every day so that we get used to it. That's what we're working on hard right now."
