Today could be a significant day for Purdue and its final efforts toward its 2018 recruiting class.

This afternoon, Louisville Trinity wide receiver and former Texas commitment Rondale Moore will announce his college decision at the U.S. Army All-America Game.

The game begins at 1 p.m. and will be televised nationally on NBC.

Moore has one of Purdue's priority recruits from the very day Jeff Brohm was hired as its coach and that interest endured through the season after Moore had made an early commitment to the Longhorns, which he walked away from the day before the Dec. 20 start of the NCAA's new early signing period.

The 5-foot-9, 175-pound receiver and offensive athlete has long been expected to wind up with Purdue, where he visited officially the weekend prior to the early signing period and months earlier unofficially for the Minnesota game.

More to come on Moore's decision when it's revealed.
