Some quick analysis from Purdue's 95-67 win over Ohio Thursday night in Mackey Arena.
CLINE SEEMS UNTRACKED
After a difficult two-and-a-half-game shooting stretch starting with the Maryland game and running through halftime vs. Notre Dame, Ryan Cline looked back to his form from earlier this season Thursday night.
He was 7-of-11 from the floor, 5-of-8 from three, and scored 19 points, returning to Purdue that formidable combination it benefited from earlier in the year between him and Carsen Edwards when both are on, and they were tonight. Edwards scored 30 on 10-of-16 shooting.
Needless to say, this is the version of Cline Purdue needs, because it needs all the scoring punch it can get and needs its known commodities clicking, and Cline is one of those known commodities.
