Bernard Pollard was in his element.

On May 2, the former Boilermaker and retired NFL safety was on HSN, selling his Smart Sink Tray to television viewers. It's an idea — the tray partially covers a sink, providing more room for toiletries — that he came up with while playing in the NFL.

TV is a good match for the outgoing Pollard, giving him a platform as an inventor and salesman. He's doing a little of all of that nowadays, owner of a couple of companies that kept him active in football and the business world.
