You know, Big Ten media day and those events just like it all around the country, they've changed.

What used to be a real opportunity for national media and dedicated beat reporters to get valuable and meaningful face time with the coaches they cover (and didn't see for much of the summer) in order to tell comprehensive and well curated stories and provide important information to the public about their teams, it's now become much more of a choreographed, performative, made-for-TV sort of event, consistent with everything else about college sports being dominated by television interests.

Obnoxious sentences like that one have been replaced by the tweet and the gif.
