Purdue center Zach Edey has been named the Big Ten's co-Freshman-of-the-Week after starring for the Boilermakers at the Space Coast Challenge.

The 7-foot-4 big man averaged a team-best 18 points — 19 vs. Liberty, 17 vs. Clemson — on 83-percent shooting during Purdue's two games in Melbourne. He's also averaged 6.5 rebounds.

Edey shared the award this week with Illinois guard Adam Miller.
