Even though Purdue’s run game clearly is the offense’s strength at this point in the season, Jeff Brohm still made sure to add wrinkles to it Saturday. Those included reviving the Jared Sparks package, as well as moving the running backs around the field.

Purdue’s defensive tweaks weren’t new looks, necessarily, but play caller Nick Holt’s aggression ticked up in the second half. And that paid big-time dividends.
