FORT WAYNE — Purdue should have one of its top 2018 backcourt targets on campus soon for another unofficial visit.
Four-star Indianapolis combo guard Eric Hunter Jr. said at this weekend's Hensley Memorial Run 'N Slam that he's plotting some summer visits.
"I know I'll be back up to West Lafayette soon," Hunter said. "I don't know exactly when. And I think I'm going up to Minnesota in June."
Hunter's already been to Purdue numerous times, proximity being what it is. He attended multiple games in Mackey Arena this past season.
"It's just to spend time there," Hunter said. "I've seen everything up there. I've been up there for or five times."
Butler and Xavier are among those heavily involved with Hunter, too, with offers on the table and that same proximity advantage, if it turns out to be one.
Hunter said that North Carolina State has been among those new schools showing interest this spring.
