Elijah Sindelar never really lost Purdue's quarterback battle earlier this season.
He just didn't win it.
When Jeff Brohm decided to go with David Blough following the Boilermakers' disappointing loss at Rutgers, which was Sindelar's second straight start and fourth of the season, he did so while citing fit.
