FORT WAYNE — There might not have been a hotter player in the country this spring than Grand Rapids forward Marcus Bingham Jr., who came out of the high school season and relatively unknown, certainly under-recruited player nationally, but has since emerged in a big way.

Just last week, the versatile 6-foot-9, 210-or-so-pounder was offered by Purdue, Xavier, Michigan State, Butler, Missouri and others.
