The focus of Purdue's football coaching search, Cincinnati coach Butch Jones, arrived in West Lafayette a little before noon Sunday for his interview with athletic director Morgan Burke.

Burke flew to Middletown, Ohio, Sunday morning aboard a Purdue Trustees-owned plane to pick Jones up and bring him to campus.
Jones has long been known to be the Boilermakers' No. 1 target to replace the fired Danny Hope.
Sunday's interview with Purdue is expected to be followed by Jones' Monday meeting with Colorado.
Purdue fired Hope after a 6-6 regular season in which it lost its first five Big Ten games.
Jones, the 2011 Big EAST Coach-of-the-Year, coached his Bearcat team to a share of the Big EAST title, clinching it yesterday with a win over Connecticut in Hartford.
It will be a busy day for Burke. Purdue will learn of its bowl berth today and will announce it at a 6 p.m. press conference.
According to flight records, Jones left Purdue on a return flight to Middletown, Ohio, at 3:33 p.m.
