NOBLESVILLE — Purdue was one of the first of what will surely be many to dig in early in the recruitment of Class of 2023 Ohio guard Lawrent Rice.
The 6-foot-3 sophomore point guard from Huber Heights Wayne near Dayton was offered a scholarship by Boilermaker coaches months ago and has remained in consistent contact ever since.
