More ($): Purdue may be on the verge of commitment run

Purdue's recruiting Jack Cravaack for either tight end or the defensive line, an unknown that shaped his itinerary during his unofficial visit to West Lafayette on Friday.

"I spent 30 minutes with the tight ends coach, 30 minutes with the defensive line coach," Cravaack said, "then 30 with the head coach, and then my recruiting coach, too, Coach (Derrick) Jackson.

"We talked it and they still say they don't know, that the defense wants me and the offense wants me. They think I can play both but they'd figure it out more when I got there."

Purdue hopes it will have to make that decision someday on the 6-foot-5, 225-pounder from Madeira High School in Cincinnati.
