Jeff Brohm wants his receivers to continue to work and battle through struggle, of which there’s been a significant amount in Purdue’s training camp.

Though senior Greg Phillips may not yet make plays as consistently as Brohm would like, one thing the first-year coach never has to worry about with the captain is work.

That’s how Phillips has even gotten here, with a chance to be a starting receiver again as a senior after getting a handful as a true freshman.

It’s a big reason why Phillips was selected as one of the three offensive captains by his teammates.
