Fifth-Year Senior
2005-06 Recap: Teague tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee just before the season and was lost for the entire year. Luckily, he had a redshirt year available, so he'll be in position to return as a fifth-year senior in 2006-07.
Season Highlights: Teague recovered from his surgery fairly quickly, so much so that he might have been in position to return for limited action toward the end of the season. That is, of course, if it wouldn't have meant him blowing his redshirt and thus ending his career.

What's Next?: Teague might be the most important of all those returning to the lineup this season.
Before getting hurt, he was Purdue's foremost emotional leader, its best perimeter defender and a dangerous three-point shooting threat. He would certainly have been a team captain this season, and would have likely made a profound difference for a team that needed energy, defensive urgency and extra shooting all year.
Teague will have a massive effect on Purdue's collective team personality next season, as will Minnoy, Gordon Watt and perhaps even fiery freshman Chris Kramer.
