Georgia offensive lineman Marques Easley plans to enter the transfer portal.
In March, Easley was suspended from all football activities indefinitely by Georgia head coach Kirby Smart after he crashed his car into an Athens apartment complex. Easley was charged with three counts of reckless conduct and one count of reckless driving, which are all misdemeanors.
After appearing in two games and redshirting in 2024, Easley will have all four years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-5, 325-pound Easley appeared in two games for the Bulldogs in 2025, seeing time in Georgia's wins over Tennessee Tech and Massachusetts. According to Pro Football Focus, Easley played seven offensive snaps against the Golden Eagles.
Easley was an early enrollee as a true freshman and went through spring ball with the Bulldogs in 2024.
As a recruit in the 2024 class, Easley was rated as a four-star offensive guard out of Kankakee High School in Peoria, Illinois. He ranked as the No. 11 player in Illinois and No. 17 offensive guard in the cycle.
Easley had more than 30 scholarship offers coming out high school.
In addition to Easley, news broke that Georgia sophomore wide receiver, Nitro Tuggle, also intends to enter the transfer portal.
