More: Alexander becomes first Purdue commitment
In his career to date at Hoffman Estates High School, Jaylan Alexander — who on Monday night became Purdue's first Class of 2018 commitment — has played all over the place.
He's played wide receiver on offense, but also moved around to various spots around the field, whether it be the slot, the backfield, etc.
On defense, he's played linebacker in different capacities, but this season will also see some snaps as a situational pass-rushing defensive end, Coach Tim Heyse said.
