Purdue has made it known that Hunter Dickinson is its priority

WESTFIELD — Matt Painter has told Hunter Dickinson how much he's wanted at Purdue, that he's the priority for the Boilermakers' 2020 recruiting class.

But that prioritization has been in place since long before Jaden Ivey and Ethan Morton claimed two of Purdue's three scholarships for that class, Dickinson said.

"From the beginning they've been saying that I'm the key piece to their class," Dickinson said.

Rivals.com's No. 26 player nationally said at this weekend's Nike EYBL event in Westfield Sunday that that's been Purdue's message from Day 1, since it offered him as an underclassman, continuing to the time in the fall when he used his first junior-year official visit to see Purdue, to now.
