Another piece of Purdue women's basketball's non-conference slate is set in stone. The Boilermakers have been slated to play in the 2023 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championships event for months, but we now know who they will battle.

Per a release from the school, Purdue will play Florida on November 20th, followed by Georgia on November 22nd.

It will be just the third time Purdue will have played Florida in program history, with the Boilermakers winning the last two matchups in 1998 and 1999. Katie Gearlds and company will see a familiar face in the game, as former Boilermaker Ra Shaya Kyle is set to begin her second season with the Gators after transferring from Purdue.

Florida went 19-15 last season, earning a bid to the WNIT, where they won three games before falling to Bowling Green in the WNIT Quarterfinals.

Purdue will also take on Georgia for the third edition of the all-time series and the first meeting in the regular season. The last matchup came in the Sweet 16 of the 2007 NCAA Tournament, with the Boilermakers winning 78-65. Then senior star Katie Gearlds dropped a game-high 30 points to lead Purdue to an Elite 8 appearance.

In 2022-2023, the Bulldogs went 22-12 and earned a ten seed in the NCAA Tournament. Georgia beat Florida State in the opening round before losing to eventual National Championship Game participant Iowa.

The Boilermakers now have three Power 5 opponents on the docket for their 2023-2024 non-conference schedule, with Florida and Georgia joining UCLA on the slate.
