Mike Bobinski and the scores of coaches he oversees at Purdue, in sports ranging from soccer to basketball, often tout to prospects the incredible academic opportunity the university provides.
But if academics really are Purdue’s priority, shouldn’t there be a space for athletes that showcases that?
That was the question Bobinski posed early on in his tenure as athletic director, and he didn’t like what he saw in terms of an answer as it related to facilities on campus.
So Bobinski has worked to change that.
