Passing Offense
Purdue shut down much of its passing offense in the second half — the Boilermakers didn’t even attempt a pass in the final dozen minutes — but it was of little matter, because in the first 45 minutes, they were really good.
David Blough, making his first start of the season, and Elijah Sindelar, who had a dozen snaps on three drives, combined for 26-of-32 passing (81 percent) in the first three quarters (plus one play in the fourth) — Blough missed on his final two attempts — for 272 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
