The following is our Report Card for Purdue’s game Saturday, a 31-17 win over Minnesota in Ross-Ade Stadium.
Passing Offense
Watching live, one might have felt like Elijah Sindelar struggled to settle in at quarterback after he took over for an erratic David Blough in the second quarter.
Yet, looking at Sindelar’s final stats — 19 of 26 for 248 yards and a touchdown — gives reason to reevaluate than initial assessment. Doing so, the sophomore was steady, largely making good decisions that enabled skill position players opportunities to make plays. None more so, perhaps than Anthony Mahoungou.
