The following is our Report Card for Purdue’s game Saturday, a 14-12 loss at Rutgers.

Passing offense

Unfortunately for Purdue, this is a all a repeat, the same storyline playing out over and over.

Different game, but same result.

Purdue struggles to keep pressure off its quarterbacks, although it didn't give up any sacks Saturday, and it doesn't have play-makers at the skill positions. Its QBs, Elijah Sindelar or David Bough, have not been sharp in recent weeks, by misfiring, making poor decisions or both. And on Saturday, drops added significantly to the equation.
