With his dad being a basketball coach, currently for the girls team at Stanhope Elmore in Alabama, KJ Stokes had to make a difficult choice, whether to play his senior hoops season or not.

The defensive lineman decided not to, instead focusing on his training for football.

"I've been playing basketball since the seventh grade, but sat out my senior year just to have more time to train for football and from injury-wise, just so I won't have to worry about getting injured," he said. "But I've been working hard since football season ended. I have workouts in the morning, starting at 5. I have to wake up at 4:15 to be able to work out by 5. Then, also work out after school with my dad."

Following is an Entrance Interview with the incoming freshman.
