Spring position check-up: Running backs

MORE CHECKUPS: Tight ends | Offensive tackles | Guards/centers | Receivers

A big priority for the 2021 Purdue offense is to run the ball better.

The attack has finished last in the Big Ten in rushing each of the last two years. The Boilermakers don't need to rank among the conference leaders in rushing, but they need to move up the statistical ladder and run the ball good enough to keep defenses off balance.

The good news: The program has two proven running backs who can get the job done.
