Speed kills. And Purdue freshman receiver Marcellus Moore has plenty of it. In fact, the diminutive Moore may be the fastest player in the Big Ten.
The 5-8, 160-pound Planfield, Ill., native is one of four wideouts in the Boilermakers' Class of 2020, joining Maliq Carr, Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen and Collin Sullivan. Like Carr and Yaseen, Moore arrived early in West Lafayette. But unlike Carr and Yaseen, Moore didn't take part in spring football. Instead, he competed in track. And he excelled.
